Over 200 A level History and A level Classical Civilisation students enjoyed a visit from TV Historian Michael Wood today.
Talking about the “Excitement of History” Michael’s topics ranged from the English Reformation to an indigenous pilgrimage in the Andes to his recently screened “Story of China”. Around 20 students also had the privilege of an informal session with Michael about careers in the media.
Holy Cross College is very privileged to host this visit in Michael Wood’s capacity of Public Professor of History at Manchester University.
